Q. When you visualize a chessboard, is it 2D or 3D?
A. 2D
Q. What was the main reason/thing that got you into Chess?
A. In short, sibling rivalry. The Magnus trainer mobile app goes into more detail in this story. Play against the bots of young Magnus.
Q. Who do you consider the greatest chess player other than yourself?
A. Garry Kasparov
Q. Who was your greatest opponent?
A. Fabiano Caruana. Part of the reason Magnus relinquished his World Championship title is because the match against Caruana was very tough. Magnus knew that he could have lost that match if he wasn't at his very best.
Q. Do you believe in chess psychology?
A. Yes, Magnus knows that some players are afraid of him, and uses that to put them under maximum pressure during a game.
