Play a lot, study a lot

Earlier you said that you played najdorf since you started chess. I feel like I’m playing the najdorf and memorizing some theory but not really gaining a full understanding. Do you have any tips, resources, or tricks you can provide to studying Sicilian ? I’m around 1175 ( in rapid)

What variation do you specifically not understand?
To be honest, memorization matters a lot more in the Najdorf than actually understanding

nyzaro

What do you think about this line against the Sicilian in which Shimanov recently beat Carlsen in a game?

What's surprising is that this line doesn't have a name.

It's true that it can transpose into the same line through the Checkhover Variation, but at its core, it's an independent line.

I have gone about the najdorf looking for patterns because I don’t have money for tools like chess base or books or coaching to speed up the proscess. I remember a few things, but mostly look for what is common between the variations and do my best ( better than your average 1200 who barely knows how to enter the najdorf). Are there any free tools that I can use for memorization that make it easier and/or faster? I also feel like all of the other lines and theory can be overwhelming. My opponents also play 1.e4 c5 2.bc4 , which I can’t transpose to the najdorf. ( atleast against a 1200 ).

how many brilliant moves do you get daily

Depends on how much I play

The more I play, the more likely it is for me to get a brilliant
Normally, 1-2 brilliant a day I guess

bro the most moves I've ever gotten for brilliants is 3 in two days

hint; (play more)
