It's also hopeless in simple endings... I've won a couple of rook and pawn endings where I was a pawn down with no positional or other advantages. It just seems to lose sight of the objective and ends up playing time-wasting moves, usually cheap, failing tactics.

Ive been playing little chesspartner on hard for some time now and its been an interesting experience. Ive beaten it a couple of times and i cant help but notice the flaws of the PC.
1. Its openings suck severely.
2. It plays horrible positionally.
