Banned

My previous account, @ChesswithNickolay has been banned for fair play and I'm starting to believe that it may be a false ban.

I'll start by talking about the verbal abuse I did to the site's members in the past week or two (although I should've been muted, not banned, so this is to an extent irrelevant at this point in the post). I've been playing in an event for clubs and I got angry when my friend kicked me from an alliance. From then on I've said some mean things I regret. I've also sent constant spam of fake club invitations (once 2 years ago, then once again recently) and I have been warned multiple times but persisted on most of the actions, regardless. I've also sent three IP grabbers: two of the receivers have their accounts closed). But obviously, as I said, this is irrelevant as I wasn't banned for abuse, at least this is irrelevant for now.

The next theory is that I was banned for using computer assistance. After all, I used it in the past and I did use it during the first few days on the account (until I realized that I couldn't improve that way and thankfully stopped). From then on I was progressing to 1500 rapid until I could no longer improve, then my blitz got to 1500, then my rapid got to 2000 and my blitz and bullet sat at 1700. Because they were so low, I decided to swear to play only speed chess until they got to well over 2000, at least 2000.

But maybe I still was using computer assistance for rapid? Maybe I could only use it in the longer time controls? Although that's a reasonable theory, my daily is relatively poor and low: only 1500. Considering how many club wars matches I played in it would've made sense for me to use assistance in daily. It would be a great way to combat enemy clubs, after all!

I could've cheated to get chess.com league money, to win a diamond membership instead of actually paying 100 USD a year for it, to get my daily and puzzle ratings higher, to progress my rapid that tilted badly at one point (now sitting at 2000 for months without going up at all), to play 10|0 games instead of 15|10 so that I can gain more rating quickly, to win vote chess for my club. to win Club War rapid multi-club arenas which are super important, to.... you get the point. I've also been really big on openings and I recorded a vast library loaded with theory and paid for premium on both chess.com and on Chessable (username: ChessNickolay).

If it's not abuse or computer assistance, what could it be? One solid theory that I have is the abuse of multiple accounts. I did in fact have many alt accounts (see names in more important info). I used them to vote bad moves in vote chess games (or good ones), to help my team in these multi-club arenas, to sabotage enemy team matches, to win my team's matches, to... once again, you get the point. Two of these accounts have actually sandbagged (to get into the crucial multi-club arenas) and have been restricted ever since.

But what if I sandbagged myself? I've aborted many games until the abort button became resign, and I did sandbag to get my blitz rating to a perfect 1475 (after tilting from 1500 and raging lol) and then to 1450, to 1400, 1350, and finally finishing at an exact 1300. And I was indeed restricted once. But the problem is that after that, I never did sandbag. If I was indeed banned for sandbagging, then why not just restrict the account again, instead? This theory also seems rather flawed.

Then why did I get banned? I think I was banned because of a combination of sandbagging after raging, computer assistance in the first few days of the account, abuse and verbal harassment of multiple accounts, and a mass reporting in the past week or so due to the members I angered and hurt. But are these sufficient for a permanent ban? The verbal abuse I didn't have and swear words or offensive language of any sort, I've had a previous account banned and cheated in the first few days of the new account but after then I clearly stopped, I did abuse these alternate accounts to an extent but did not use them for rating manipulation and verbal abuse and harassment, and I stopped sandbagging after a few days. Therefore I think I have likely been falsely banned and I'm asking for the staff to at least review the ban again. I've had the account for 2 years and I don't want to throw it away. It's a wonderful symbol of my chess journey.

Alt Accounts: @stephanjuke (originally made for mute evasion most abusive one) @GMITSCHESSTIME247 (originally made for sister) @JanePlaysChess960 (originally made for sister old username) @NickGamingOnYT (made to promote YouTube channel, one forum include me offering a fake membership in exchange for views/subs/comments/likes) @MrNikolay, @ChesswithNikolay, @ChessWithKolya, @ChesswithKolyaO, etc. (many others I don't remember but I could try giving emails).

I'm willing to provide the full name of my certified coach to whom I've presented my chess games, he analyzed them, gave me puzzles to solve, and asked me questions and moves to make in certain positions.

I'm also willing to provide any other information that is needed. I know a friend who beat a titled player in OTB and who is good at speed chess who got false banned here. I know that it's a possibility.

You would have been forgiven for your sins had you not played 10+0.

I had to play 10|0 for the arenas. I still actively played 15|10 though, despite suffering a huge loss streak as black.

10+0 is for inferior, weak-minded ninnyhammers.

I have learned to take matters into my own hands. Make an account, use it for about a month, then close it out. Make another one. Your previous accounts will be preserved (posts, activity, etc...) and you won't have to worry about control freaks who have been given powers beyond yours.

What is the point in maintaining an account for 6 months to then be silenced? If you did something wrong, act R let's say, why should your activities A-Q be hidden? Address issue R with chess.com and chess.com only mute issue R, not A-Q.

Then maybe you will see a better resolution. And, you will get people like me paying for membership.

A false ban after 2 years isn't that bad. Many NMs have 2200-2400 15|10 rapid and I've played one Canadian with 2100. So if I can get NM within the next 2 years there won't be any chance of me getting falsely banned anymore. This is all assuming the ban is false though and not the combination of things I listed.

I stopped playing it because I saw friends being stuck once they reached 2000.

Playing classical is much better for arenas and makes the weak-minded tremble, for they cannot comprehend the genius moves us classical players make.

Maybe so, but the time control of these arenas wasn't of my picking and I had to play in them for my team.

There was a point in time when I thought you were serious.

Oh yeah I remember someone who kept stating that classical time controls are better and kept arguing with people. Uh what was the username? Oh right it was TacticalPrecision, someone who got eventually banned for abuse.

Nickolay admitting he used engines in the past is so wholesome for a 12 year old :). Very eloquent speech as well, I just say.
