I beat 2000+ in less than ten moves sometimes lmao how does how many moves a game take correlate to cheating :/ bro if you don't blunder in ten moves occasionally your probably the one cheating 😂

At this point cheating is prevalent that banning players really has no impact. We need to have a better verified pool of players. Memberships seems to help. Far less cheating member vs member.

They also tend to pair people with other memberships paid players tend to get paired with each other tbh I don't have much of an issue with cheating (typically occasionally a cheater ) unless I create a new account automatically I get paired with more cheaters though even then it is mostly clean

Chess.com is basically incapable of determining cheating at lower ELO unless it's extremely obvious. I do think they take things like TT with GM level play seriously enough that they do catch some. However for lower ELO players, they basically lie about how well they stop cheating with a bunch of made up cherrypicked statistics, and then don't stand behind their product at all - if you ask for a refund because of cheating they acknowledge cheating is a huge problem and refund you.
Then when people complain in forum, they allow like 3 or 4 bot posts that pile on with some kind of "YOU SUCK AT CHESS SO NO ONE IS CHEATING AGAINST YOU JUST GET GOOD" type sentiment, and lock the thread because they don't want people discussing the blatant cheating.

No people cheat but if you wanna take a gander at 1600+ where more people get banned well good luck with your chsssing on your new "advanced " account I don't think you will make it to 1700 lol

Basically when you create new accounts you can set it at 1600 elo you can try a new account to see if you can beat 1600+ players you most likely will just go back down to 800 though not due to cheating (even if it is part of it )

-That has nothing to do with cheating or my post you referenced. I don't know why you wrote that.

My point is if people can be 1600+ without cheating then why can't you be 1600+ it obviously isn't the cheaters fault your stuck at 809 elo

- And there we have the obligatory "You suck so no one is cheating" that I mentioned earlier. It's actually pretty crazy how formulaic this is from chess.com

-I don't understand the point of what you're writing. Yes, I suck at chess. That said, my rating is literally over double this on Lichess, the cheating and bots definitely have an impact, but sure - I definitely suck. That is a non sequitur that just deflects the conversation away from the cheating and matching problems that are frequently brought up and not addressed by chess.com, and they just lock down the posts after bots like you make these insulting deflections away from the blatant cheating problems on this site.

Dumb statements like this is why sensible discussion of cheating can't be had in the public forums. Any cheating happening at your rating level is almost certainly "obvious" and those types of cheaters are detected and banned by the automated systems pretty quickly. It doesn't mean you won't play a cheater - it's just that that person is going to be identified and banned in probably less than 24 hours. Most complaints about cheaters not being banned at your level is because those people aren't cheating - it's because you're conflating cheating with your own sense of entitlement and being a sore loser.

Actually if you wanna talk about it you should talk in the cheating forum here's salot more explanations and controversy (both good and bad ) lol there will be far more people that agree with you and they can't actually "sensor" you there as long as you don't accuse people and stay (relatively ) respectful

And saying people who disagree and "hurl" insults are supposed bots while people do the same thing is a bit ironic but whatever I won't question it

-Why is it almost certainly obvious cheating at lower levels? You don't even have a baseline for what cheating is - is it playing with a bar? Using an opening database? And yet you are immediately against the notion. You're just a contrarian or a bot, your argument is just "No you're dumb and you suck"
