Basic analysis not showing move classifications on board.

This is incredibly frustrating. Why can't I see the classifications of all of the moves with free analysis when all my friends can? They also have free accounts.

It appears that only your one daily full review shows that. Any run after will give the count, but isn't showing on the move list. I'll double check, but that may be by design.

I don't think it's by design because it shows move classifications on board when playing on a phone (chess.com app). I don't see a reason why chess.com would make that a free feature on phone but not on pc. btw I have the same problem as "itsTigereye" has on pc. I wonder if there is a fix

Bump. I just stumbled upon this issue and it seems like it still exists after more than 6 months. Any fix yet?

This thread should be in site feedback or help and support.

Ziryab you want to imply that there is a fix for the problem?

Yes, there probably is. Also, it is not about chess, but about site features related to analysis. If you want someone else to analyze your game and share their views, that would be general chess discussion and belong here.

Pretty sure that is still by design for the website.

I understand that this is not a chess discussion, but I am not the OP so I will not go further into that detail.

Just to get back to the problem, for you, Martin: The move classifications in game analysis are a free feature on mobile and work fine. In browser, even though the setting for the move classifications are there and set correctly, they don't show on the board, which is the problem. I really don't understand why you'd design it this way, but if you say that this is what professional marketers and programmers intend to do, then I have to accept it. Maybe I could use the analysis feature on other websites as a free user...

For me it fixed when I closed and started a new analysis

Thank you for the hint, @averytcoo, I just tried it on the computer again right now, the issue is fixed!
