Also to the OP , it doesn't matter if your opponent is 1500 now. He was 1300 when u played him , and that counts as a win over a 1300. Magnus would have lost to some kid when he first learnt to play the game , that doesn't mean that the kid beat a 2800 since Magnus is 2800 now.
