Beginner and don’t know where to start?

Here is a position where you sack your queen to win : https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/pgn/24SUT7eBgi/analysis

Ok. Middle-game is when things look different.
If you’re stuck in a deadlock (e.x the center is stuck) or there is little activity, try to find a way to improve the position. I recommend
-Push pawns ( But be careful about how your pawns are positioned )
-Take space with pawns
- Try to trade so pawns may open up the position
If the position is not locked, then start to trade. But don’t trade to much. Otherwise you don’t have the firepower to blast the enemy king. If you’re an endgame pro, trade till’ there are nothing but kings, pawns, and maybe even a bishop or knight. If not, see if your opponent is offense or defense. If your open is attacking, defend. If your opponent is attacking, defend. Now I know all of this sound complicated and easier said than done, so if your attacking make sure your pieces have at least 1 piece protecting it. If you’re attacking, find squares for your pieces that will serve future purposes.
Have fun! Good luck!

Also find openings that are comfortable. Don’t pick crazy complicated openings like the kings Indian defense that GMs say it’s a good opening. Find an opening that suits you best. Personally, I like 1.e4 because my bishop and queen is opened up, and I can develop the knights to attack the center. There are also gambits, where you sacrifice pieces to torture your opponent. However, gambits are risky. Like the name suggests, in order to be useful, both sides need to play a series of moves. Your opponent might not play the move the gambit requires, and then you sacked your knight for nothing. But if you’re lucky, play the Halloween gambit for white(It’s evil and works almost all of the time) and the Stafford’s gambit for black(Just as evil as the Halloween gambit, but personally I think the Halloween gambit has a high chance of working. Good luck!
Learn the rules of chess, learn how pieces move, and learn how a chess board is positioned. Now, openings. Not matter if you have the black or white pieces, these series of moves will prepare for the middle game. I recommend the French Defense, The Italian Game, and the King’s Fianchetto Opening. There is also 1.e4 and 1.d4 as your opening. Next, let’s talk about your goals. 1. Take control of the center: Push your e4 and d4 pawns to take control of the center. 2. Develop your pieces:Move your Knights, Bishops, and pawns to positions where they are active. Also eventually move your queen to connect your rooks. 3. Cheat Codes/tips : Here are some cheat codes/tips I use to help me win my games
-See my opponent’s pieces and see what they wish to capture ( Oooohh, he’s trying to capture my knight
- Always check if the square your planning to bring a piece to is defended. ( I can’t move my bishop to a8… the rook will capture it)
- If you see a good move, find a better one ( HAH! he blundered his queen… wait instead of taking his queen, I can checkmate him!)
- Castle early to prioritize your king’s safety.
There are way more tips, but I couldn’t include them, otherwise this would be 500+ more text for you to read lol. Have fun playing chess!
