the game of kings has completely spiked my interest and become almost an obsession. the idea of strategy & tactical maneuvers are things I would LOVE to become better at. I find myself getting very frustrated at times because I can't see more than one or two moves ahead. or making game changing mistakes because I overthink and miss a easier and less aggressive approach.
Beginner with interest

I had someone send me a trophy this morning as thanks for sending him this link so you will probably find these courses valuable as well. OK the first course is a little lame since it was designed for absolute beginners, but the rest will give you a very solid foundation. Chess.com is hoping of course that you'll want more and sign up for premium, but in the meantime you have 15 free courses that you can do as often as you like. Have fun!

Don't worry to much about seeing many moves ahead, focus on learning postional skills. Check out the chess club and scholastic center of saint louis' youtube chanel and watch some of akobians lectures on there, he will teach you a lot.
