Maybe it would be helpful to look at:

Beating Unusual Openings

If I remember correctly, the Ntirlis book has some flank discussion for the QGD player.

You don’t need a specific book against the English, but a repertoire book where you know how to face the English and other white’s first moves. For example, if you play the QGD you can simply play 1...e6, nothing else.

If you are serious about learning a high level repertoire I recommend you the book A Grandmaster Guide, by GM Alex Colovic. However, this is only one of three books covering everything but 1. e4. This means a lot of work. Usually people recommend to invest so much in the opening only if you are already a quite strong player. You will find Colovic’s books in Chessable. The cool thing about Chessable is the spaced repetition.
