There should be practice checkmates that use the pieces that aren’t featured in current board variants, so we can see them in action.
How many points would the amazon be worth?

They are supported now. But that board editor is outdated. The in-game one is *mostly* built, but not ready yet. There's a chance it becomes update 1.9!

I would like more variant piece in practice, for example: Camel, General, Berolina pawn, Alfil, Dabbaba etc.
I like variant Pieces ok?

I believe 3 generals (or centaurs), (King+Knight pieces) can Checkmate a lone king perhaps?

I agree! I'd personally also love to see 3D pieces in the Perspective Mode, as if you were really playing over the board, but that might be too hard to add.
