And how useful is this comment?

I want to clarify for chessgm003 that there are several translations of My System.  Your second link is to Eugene Manchester's review for ChessCafe.  Mr. Manchester implies the new translation, which Quality Chess feels is the soul of their new edition, is first rate, but John Watson, the premiere reviewer for This Week in Chess, sees it quite differently.  It is worth reading IM Watson's thorough, detailed criticism of the Quality Chess edition by clicking here.  Having purchased this edition before reading this review and subsequently trying to read it -- I emphasize "trying" -- I would agree with Mr. Watson's assessment.

Coincidentally, your first link is to IM Watson's positive review of Robert Sherwood's translation.  At the time of this review in 2013, Mr. Sherwood's version was available in electronic form only.  Thankfully for chess book collectors like myself, in late 2016 New in Chess published Mr. Sherwood's translation along with his equally fine translation of Nimzowitsch's Chess Praxis and also Nimzo's lesser known Blockade, all in one volume no less.  Click here to view a copy and "Look inside."

Though Quality Chess, like its name, has published many quality chess books, My System is not one of them.  With the New in Chess version you not only get two books for less than the price of one, you get a far superior translation as well.  How can you go wrong.

Pinpointing the useless is useful( and someone should do it) but I doubt you know the real meaning of the word.

If nothing else, posting 50 links in 50 different messages is the definition of spam(but I doubt you know the meaning of that word too) something that is forbidden by chess.com regulations. He could gather all the links and post them in one post. Then he would be again useless but at least not spamming.

It seems to me I had pinpointed the useless...and I'll do it again....

Kindaspongey is simply trying to be helpful - something your and pfren's last comments here are lacking...
