5. Go for the Win
6. Protect Your King (Yourself)
7. Think Ahead
8. Learn and Grow from Your Losses

Have manners.

Be a gentleman/lady about your lost game and even more so, about the games you won.

In the end, we're all just pawns, hoping to make that big promotion some day.
