Best Music to listen to while playing chess?

the entire final fantasy 6 soundtrack by nobuo uematsu is 3 hours of pure magic for chess, but if you're playing puzzle battle then just a 'wild west' (veldt music) loop should do the trick. 🙂

Today I was listening to Daughter & Glen Hansard's excellent (IMO) new album, but normally I'd listen to Ludovico Einaudi.

I blast out all types of music during play as I want to be able to play without thinking
The human brain needs some form of music, white noise or arbitrary motion to allow the creative part to thrive. This is why most GM's twiddle the pieces during play

factual statement
love listening to some stoner music with distorted guitar riffs like Alice In Chains or Queen Of The Stone Age

I just listen to whatever I normally would listen to, so normally Alternative/Pop Rock or something similar. I can understand how songs with lyrics are distracting to some people, but they don't distract me.
In my opinion, music with lyrics is just distracting. It kinda makes you wanna sing along, tap the beat, and stuff like that--especially when the song is good. So, like I said earlier, I prefer to listen to classical/piano music.
Try Jeff Beck. Rock music, but no lyrics.
