Best Opening ( Debate and Decide only One best opening)

Consistently overwhelm opponents? No such thing. As white you could always play the Scotch Gambit or Vienna Gambit if you are looking to completely crush your opponent, but at your level, you are just as likely to misplay it and get crushed yourself.

Thanks HeckinSprout!. I tried scotch game and Its a good opening. It help me get control of the center and open both of my bishops and queen.

There are no best openings!
You don't defeat opponents with an opening!
Well, I guess all those grandmasters studying openings are just wasting their time then, Maybe we should all just start with random moves and see what happens!

The Scotch Gambit is different from the Scotch Game. There's some good free lessons for it on Lichess.

Grandmasters study openings becauce they allready master all other fases of the game. We do not!
And they do not look for a way to defeat their opponent or any best opening, as they know that chess is a drawn game. They are just looking for ways to surprise their next opponent and get a decent game out off opponents preparations.

I think the Italian Opening is extremely strong and easy to learn and play for beginners I would recommend it, it carried my rating to 1500, especially when I used the Fried Liver

Anybody who has a memory like a goldfish could try playing the Hippo with both white and black.
I'm 50 now, and my memory wasn't exactly greased lightning when I was 20.
So the Hippo has been perfect for me.

1, this is literally the worst possible question you can ask. As others have said, we are not masters, we are terrible players and therefore don't need to learn openings. Ofc knowing principles and maybe very few lines may come in handy but it is definitely not a necessity. I know people around 2500 that play garbage openings but still win because openings are not important.. That being said, if you are set on this whole zany mission of there being a best opening, for your level pick the Italian as white

By the way, I was just talking to Polish Candidate Master, Jakub Lizak. He says he lost to a 7 year old kid yesterday who played the Hippo against him. So, it ain't THAT weak! 😂
Plus Solomon Ruddell played it exclusively with white and black to earn his National Master title.

If there's a "best opening", why aren't all the Grandmasters playing it?
Do they WANT to lose?
