But it ruins the purpose, your probably prepared against it now :P

I play 1. b3 in blitz, so it's the white-side version sort of. The better players I've faced adopt a d6-e5-f5 formation and seek to steamroll the kingside. Sometimes they win, sometimes I win. Other tries by black give me an easier time usually. Here's a recent blitz game where I beat a Canadian master, though I think he underestimated me and threw caution to the wind:
Very nice game! You missed Rc8# a couple moves earlier right?

You know this opening isn't new right I mean, Spassky even played it against Petrosian in a WC match in 1966.

I recently completed a 25 game match with someone and in one of the games He played the system as black I'll post it as soon as I can find it
I can't stand this kind of "no brain" opening and whenever I encounter people that play this sort of thing every game I get the urge to crush them.
Usually I do since it's mostly weak players that do this but that's not always the case.
Playing the same pre-moved or mostly pre-moved opening with white and black is a nice way of convincing people not to accept your rematch offers.
Happens mostly in 1min though.
I hate these openings, some time ago I lost a 5 min game to it.

The opponent didn't try to do anything, he just played this system in order to save some time on a clock.
By the time I managed to think what to play against it, I was already in time trouble. Then I played some wild and speculative moves in order to crack his defence, but it was already too late.
I think this defence is sub-par in online games, but in blitz, you can grab some nice wins with it.
Ineresting opening. Whenever I play blitz or bullet chess, I tend to set up a fianchetto ( usaully kingside) and set up a solid defensieve position.
Isn't really the Hippo, since the main feature of the Hippo is moving most of the pawns to the 3rd rank. This is basically the Modern Defense.
Modern Defense: Standard Defense (B06)

That is Jrobis opening: http://www.youtube.com/user/jrobichess#p/u/21/fwgl2-f6tb4

Well, if someone plays g6, it doesn't automatically make it a modern defence.
It is hippo, please look at the games, for 11 moves or so, there is no pawn beyond 3rd rank, fianchettoed bishops, Knights on e7 and d7.
You guys should try it out, its really effective and your opponent really never takes advantage of your opening. I have a couple white games but were in 1 minute time control so its not worth posting.
