C'mon guys, don't leave me in the dark here!
Best Place to Follow the Candidates Tournament?

Guess there will be more info here later on http://london2013.fide.com/

I think the games all start at 8:00 am here, which is terrible. I really was hoping to watch them live, but with school I don't think I'll be able too.

Ah, thanks Don't know why that's buried so deep, doesn't show up at all in a google search.

You just have to know where and how to search ;)

I always wondered why none are ever covered on regular TV, or offered by cable services. Chess is big Worldwide. I just shake my head, I didn't know about those sites.
I have been out of chess for a long time, so am clueless on who provides the best coverage of it. I was hoping chess.com at least in the future will provide more coverage of these events.
It would be nice if it was done like Pool, Billiards, or even poker tournaments on ESPN. That would generate more prize money as well.I guess that won't happen here in America though, too bad, and how short sighted.
It would be nice if you get to meet the players, And watch them play at the board, and have commentators, analyzing their moves etc. Thanks to everyone that posted links.

The problem with chess is that there can be a lot of time where nothing happens. On one board a player may spend 30 minutes analysing a move. There is only so much the commentaors can say about one position. It can be hard to commentate when there are only four games going on at once and not a lot is happening. I do agree though the coverage could definitely be improved.

Perhaps they could have some playing 30 minutes, (perhaps the masters or even other special guests) while the main rounds were also playing, going from board to board. with the right setup, and commentators, it wouldn't be a big deal, and not boring for people with shorter attention spans.
I would have no problem with watching legit tourament times, especially on the big matches. They could have a few GM's giving indepth analysis, with the histories of the openings, and ideas what the players are doing, and to some degree on what their thought processes might be etc.
Also about their preparation, they could even have their 2nds/training partners there explaining some of the ideas as well, and how the players trained and prepared. Women's chess might really be big, most guys enjoy watching women more. Like in the pool tournaments. I just can't believe the networks haven't bothered to try different formats, to see which venue viewers liked the most.
It could be made very interesting if done right. Thats my opinion on it.
Poker includes hours without interesting hands as well, and they somehow turned it into a super hype. I could see blitz chess being a tv sport, especially if we get some new really wacky GMs.

I use http://www.theweekinchess.com/ and http://www.chessgames.com/index.html for all my chess needs.
I haven't been involved in chess long enough to remember the last candidates tourney, so perhaps there is something obvious I'm missing - but there doesn't really seem to be much information on what kind of coverage there will be.
With the London Chess Classic and Tata (the only big tournaments since I've been playing) it was really simple: Here's live coverage, here's live engine analysis and here's a daily roundup.
So in short: Where the coverage at?
