Best tablet for playing on chess.com?

I'd quite like a tablet instead of my kindle, and it would be nice to play chess / analyse positions and so on, probably using chess.com.

Any idea which one would be the best, or which one has a good chess app?

An Ipad with the chess.com app has worked well for me before, though any tablet which supports the chess.com app in some way or another should work just fine.

Thanks for the comments.  My son has a Nexus 7 and it seems very good.  Anyone with any experience running the chess.com app on it?  The only links I could find were not favourable...

I am absolutely satisfied with chess.com on my Nexus 7.

When the latest version of the app came out, it was "buggy". That may be what you've read.

Thanks for this; have the bugs been sorted out then?  This will probably be the clincher for a Nexus 7 as they do seem very good.

Nexus 7 works well. You can comfortably hold it in one hand. However, the app is buggy and will cause a crash and reboot once or twice a day.
