Best time control order?

I've been doing a lot of screwing around in different time controls. I play a lot of Bullet, Blitz, Rapid, and Daily. I've seen a lot of people say in other forums that its best to play Rapid first. Is this a true strategy, and if so, when do I know when I've finished my time in Rapid, and should move on. My goal is 1000 if for some reason that impacts anything.
