I was feeling pretty pleased with my game today, won against a 1600 player, can't ever remember doing that before (except the computer bots which I suspect are over rated).
I thought that may be my best win, but of course it is the rating after the game that counts for this, and my opponent plummeted 275 points to 1325......how is this possible?
I suspected something odd was afoot as my opponent left a bishop hanging early on - and followed with another couple of blunders, not something you would expect from a 1600 player, making for a fairly easy win. Wondering just what is going on here - anybody elaborate pls?
