"Best Win" Rating Incorrect?

When you win against the highest rated opponent you've ever beaten, then the rating it shows as "Best Win" shows as the rating after you beat the opponent.  For example, say you beat a 1600 rated player, and that's the highest win you've ever beaten.  It will show the rating for your highest win as after the loss, so if your opponent lost 11 points, it would show your "Best Win 1589."

My only thought as to why anyone would do this is to avoid provisionals having their rating bounce up higher than it should be.  Maybe just don't show provisional players in the Best Win category? Or players who haven't played in a while and the rating is still +50 or +64 per win/loss.
