Big Mistakes, and Saving the Game.

Your in a good position, in control of the board forcing your opponent to your will, and then you blunder. You lose your position and material. This happens to everyone, but not everyone can save the games from that point.

Games like this show how control of a game can go back and forth very quickly, and material doesn't always matter. Mistakes, risks, and tactical mauvars can win and lose moments of the games, but that control can go back and forth very quickly.

Don't fall into the common mistake of amateurs who expect that pieces can capture only in a forward direction! In your first game you missed 22...Bxg5!

extremely careless correspondence game (just like pretty much all my games there, i'm too adhd for correspondence and the level of play is arguably quite worse than my otb)
