I luckily won on time haha! I had 2 minutes left. It was a blitz game

Your opponent made even a bigger mistake by just simply not playing f3 after your Bb7… break the whole attack for black.
But yes I hate those too... even more when I set a pre-move and totally miss read the play.

actually wasn't really angry my exact words were "oh come on.."
@skhar - doubly frustrating, because 2... QxR is mate ...
didn't even see that during the game lol. Qa7 was mate as well which was what I was supposed to play but since I was on my laptop with the touchpad I slid my hand a bit too much and played Qa8

Well, you're a really balanced person. I'm not going to write what I would say, my knowledge of English is quite approximative, and besides I don't want to be banned yet!

But, what about Bxf3, then? In any case, the bishop move is sure a fine maneuver.

Rxf3 and nothing happens. You should have really played 2... Qxf1#. However, mouseslips are just a part of the game, as I think I have been rewarded with slips by my opponents as many time as I have been penalized for making them. What can you do?

Oh, my God, I'm simply stupid! Your three comments are the fittest.

If bishop takes the pawn the rook takes bishop and black is pretty much losing at that point because the black bishop is trapped. The best move for white at that stage is to move the pawn.

Here's a classic. It was the last game of a 15|10 Open tournament, my opponent and I were =1st so this was the big decider, he played an opening which I know very well as Black so I was fairly optimistic. And then this!:

I've had a couple recently. Castling Queenside and letting go of mouse too quickly to see king on d1. Playing c4 instead of cd on move 3 of a Sicilian.
Aren't they the worst....
Ended up winning on time luckily :D
