Yeah
Bishop or knight?

Two bishops are much stronger than two knights but a in king+pawns+knight vs. king+bishop+pawns endgame, the lone knight is generally better.
That said, most strong players rate bishops slightly better than knights, all else being equal.

it realy just depends on the position but in general bishops are slighty better due to better endgame prospects and open games being more common.

The bishop is generally worth more than a knight.
'The weaker the player the more terrible the Knight is to him, but as a player increases in strength the value of the Bishop becomes more evident to him, and of course there is, or should be, a corresponding decrease in his estimation of the value of the Knight as compared to the bishop.' - Capablanca
One way to appreciate this is to checkmate KBB vs. K (easy), then KBN vs. K (hard), then KNN vs. KP (very hard).
AlphaZero rates B = 3.33 P and N = 3.05 P.

I still don't know which one is better. Everyone in this forum just says they're the same.
there must be someone explained it here already, didnt read all messages.
position defines a piece's value, knights and bishops are 3 points initially, some says bishops have a little more (especially bishop pairs) but knights love closed positions, bishop are better at open positions in general.
knights are good at stopping connected passers in the endgames, that being said bishops are also good at that if positioned correctly.
tldr: position defines
