Does anyone know a position where one would outplay the other?
Bishop pair vs Rook & P

I played a tournament game once and felt I was better with the bishop pair, but the pawn involved was a passed pawn and my opponent was able to force me to exchange a bishop for it as my King was out of position to defend against the pawn.

Less than or equal to at most
- the bishop pair may be worth a rook and two pawns

I don't believe that the bishop pair is always better than the rook and pawn or vica versa. But what would be situations in which one would be better. In my games I lean towards the rook, but would love to hear your opinion.
