Pretty sad when that happens, that 0.1s u could have saved earlier in the game may have been all there was between a win and a loss

That's why I like increments. If you get a winning position it helps you not to ruin the game.

Yeah.. True,

But, Non-increment have it's own taste...

Well, yeah, I'd say it's like spices. Chess doesn't taste so good without it but one needs to be careful cause it may turn out to be over peppered.

I dislike increments.  Time allotted is time allotted.

Increments give a player more time for moving faster.
