So am somehat intermediate and I find 1 e4 e5 somewhat boring. Is there any other opening that has little theory and plays logically for black when white plays 1. e4

The people whom I play with play Nf3, Nc6 and general italian/Four knights,  I was wondering whether there was something more fun
