I totally agree... although for top players, who know a RIDICULOUS amount of theory on all sorts of lines, they will actually play interesting and quality theory in their blitz games. These are the difficult lines they've intensely studied that are not quite good enough to be their main weapons.
So if you're interested in opening theory, a Carlsen Ivanchuk blitz game is going to be great... but yeah, the game after move 15 or so might not be of much value so it messes up the statistics.
OK , THere is something WRONG guys when i seek games in the database about a sideline .
I can find many games from many grand masters, but this games many of them were played in BLITZ , and i ask me , what the hell is this blitz crap doing in a big database ?
A serious database should not have games played in BLITZ Games in my opinion. This just ruin the game. You can see Andreikin´s game of the 1.Nc3 line , but n0 big games, many mistakes, blunders , i mean , it is not a serious game, it´s a blitz man, like games among hustlers in wasington square.
