Blitz is anti-chess.

A provocation: if you like thinking and reflecting, you must hate blitz and bullet. If you define chess a game for thinking and reflecting, you must say: blitz and bullet are the opposite of chess. Even a danger. My personal experience is that blitz destroys my chess. It makes me blind for the deep structure and for the beauty of chess. Maybe (or sure) I am too weak for blitz, but I can say that in a blitz game I calculate  two or three moves, more - for me - it's impossible. So my blitz games are blunder collections. Absolutely not interesting, yes, it's a shame. Last week I won (OTB) a long game against a player with over 2000 fide Elo; then I made a Blitz on chess.com and lost the game against a 1300. It's frustrating. So I try to avoid blitz. It makes me hate the game.

I am better at Blitz than Daily, but much, much, better at real world chess than either.

You've posted this multiple times so I'm not sure if you're being serious.

But looking at your ratings here I would guess that if you really did beat a 2000 FIDE player that they were destroying you all game then blundered a mate in 1 or something, so now you say you beat a 2000 rated player.

But anyway, yes, blitz is just for fun (and bullet is a little ridiculous, it's barely chess at all).
