blitz < rapid in leagues ??

Why rapid game has more points than blitz? To me it’s not correct. I left rapid games long time back due to people using unfair means to win games there as there is too much time to do those kind of things there. Blitz should have at least equal , if not more , than rapid game league points.

Think about the time per game. The average time of a Rapid game will be longer than a Blitz game. Therefore, Rapid games should give more points to compensate for the time commitment.

I'm actually pretty sure it's easier to get trophies in most blitz, especially 3|0 or 3|2. You can have a lower win percentage in the same time frame of a rapid game, and more games you are more likely to get that win percentage.
@alramech, I wouldn’t like the idea of giving more points for spending time. It’s should be about chess rather than time..
#3 @Martin_Stahl, I usually play 5|0 blitz games. Per my experience winning in blitz is difficult than rapid. Also the quality of the in blitz is better (my opinion). Rapid gives all the time in the world to use other means to win . I quit rapid because of those people people who does that
I play 5/5 blitz so I might as well play 10 min rapid and It's easier to win one 10 minute game than 5 bullet games and less stressful over time.

People cheating at 1600 rapid probably aren’t good at cheating. So by Occam’s razor your opponents are probably not cheating
