blitz/bullet rating is the only thing that matters in internet chess

I am otb expert and my highest rating being at 2110 uscf, to put chess players down for there low blitz and bullet is ridiculous and especially kids. MuhammadAreez10 and Ssakash are just kids and no adults should be insulting and name calling children. Canadian bacon (canadian_expert 1830) so call expert get a life, you are not that great. You lost your queen you duffer in the opening, bullet is not real chess just pushing wood around. I wonder if 1830 is the year you were born. BTW canadian bacon, you NEVER mention your otb rating.

I mean the whole post is BS, as some players are good at quick chess and others are not. I suck at blitz and bullet and thus my blitz and bullet ratings are 1600ish on here (my blitz is at an all-time high- it is usually in the high 1400s or low 1500s). My OTB rating is 1811.

This is canadian bacon (so call expert) great game, you lose your queen in the opening in a five minute blitz game. Very sad display in chess skills.

Yeah, that opening was really weak. The opponent was far ahead in development. I think it's time to change your name to Canadian noob. I don't think any experts will make such mistakes. Correct your own mistakes before criticizing about others

I becoming to disgusted with correspondence chess game, data base games, opening referrence, moving pieces and cheating. At my other chess site I am rating 2283 and climbing, I know in my heart I am not otb 2283; I would prefer 2283 blitz rating. At chesssmaniac.com I know a player who is rating coreespondence 2450 and his otb rating 1500 uscf, I was looking at 2600 online rating and he doesn't even play 1800 elo level. I am done with correspondence play and going with blitz only, I have a few more games here and I never played correspondence game again.

It sure is discouraging to see people cheat to get better ratings. But in the end, they are only cheating themselves.

I think correspondence is cheating period. I don't want my opponents using any assistance when I play them and as I understand it you're allowed to use opening references and other tools to assist you in correspondence chess and the idea of taking weeks or months to play one game is frankly a joke. When I play chess it's going to be me vs you with x time on the clock and may the least stupid person win lol.

i think its even allowed to use engines now in online chess. I am not sure though. I don't tho..

Blitz games, for all its short-term thinking problems, does solve most of the computer cheating and disconnecting problems that plague the longer time controls on the internet. Especially at 3 minutes per game - if you're 1200+, it's just long enough to get a quick think without going nuts, and too fast for computer users. 

I would imagine there are far more cheaters in Blitz and Bullet.  Online chess requires a lot of patience which puts of plenty of cheaters.  Obviously there are plenty of them still, but the idea people can't cheat at Blitz or Bullet is rather naive.  I've never had an engine myself so I don't know how fast they can calculate live, but given the speed computersmove when you play against them I assume and engine could easily spew out moves fast enough for a Blitz game.
