The figure of Fischer ( as a chess player, much less as a person ) fascinates me, like many.

I don't have the competence to evaluate what his playing strength was, I believe that only a high level master can do it ; but I think that the fact that he was a meteor and that he immediately retired without facing the most difficult part for many ( defending the title conquered ) weighs heavily on the possibility of considering him the greatest. Many can make a dazzling ascent; the difficult thing is to continue to dominate and maintain yourself at that level ( as other champions have done, instead ).

i dont think he went insane, he just supported and flexed the right to free speech as many of you support being taken away nowadays, some of the stuff he says is actually quite understandable and i agree with

well bro he did went insane and by "insane " i mean he got out of his own control he had paranoia and he was also not able to play chess in certain condition
