      Exactly! ummm.

I don't know who killed JFK, because I wasn't there. I don't know if Fischer was crazy, because standard psychological questions were never asked.  Even though I wasn't there, I DO think that Hitler killed 7 million people.

This thread is about B Fischer. If you want to talk about the holocaust, then I'll see you elsewhere. There's a thread about, "any girls on this site, to play chess".  For 100 post, guys are talking football, and WW2, and etc.

manic - why half the world? if he goes mad at the usa that does not mean half the world. usa is just a little part of the world - also the number of the inhabitants is a minority if you see the whole world. just russia is 5 or more times bigger and if all us-people go to india - maybe they wouldnt notice. if you are living in usa - you might get the impression that it is the whole world - of course it is very large - no doubt! but also usa together with europe would be a minority - i bet most ppl in the world do not know who obama is - and there are people so famous that more than a billion know them - but you never heard their name - the world is much bigger than my country shows me - and your country shows you. hm - many ppl in asia and usa and europe know rocky and rambo and what is the world without coca cola : )). i dont write here against usa - if i never have visited new york before i die i would be dissapointed : ) but i think many americans are blockheads a little bit.

C'mon you dont seriously explain that? It was a figure of speech.. :) Actually he didn't speak against any countries.. He went against the Us goverment and system, against FIDE, against the Russian chess camarilla, against the Japan police, against the Jewish occupation of Palestine, among other acts of bravery, for reasons one can search of.. :O

Mr. R.J.Cote...During the Holocaust 7 million people did die but 60 million people died in the USSR under communism including 10 million Ukrainians who were deliberately starved to death by Stalin in 1932/33.Stalin was personally responsible for the death of some 25million people. The USSR used chess for strident political purposes.

At least 3-trillion aboriginies died from poor-quality liquor supplied by pirates.

Thank you for reminding me of some larger numbers that I should of known Lebid. I'm sure Musalini wasn't too far behind. They don't highlight that in schools in the US. Or perhaps I was asleep that day. We were reminded about the 2 million soldiers lost in our civil war. Maybe that's one reason why Kasparov is so angry today. The Irish had the're famine. The blacks had slavery. Christians were thrown to the lions. Nobody gets off the planet without playing one game of chess in their life.    Thanks

Personally I never gave any credance to the cold war thing. The media jump on that like icing on a cake. Nixon & Kissenger were carving up South Asia, and laid the ground work for, "detente". Which was a fancy name for the nuclear option. 10 yrs later, Reagan came in with Salt 1, and Salt 2, which allowed us to win the cold war, by pricing the Russians out of the business of war. War is a business, and business is good, and nobody knows how to make war better than Americans.

Apart from the vietcong.

Britain declared war on Germany in Sep. 1939 in order to protect Poland"s borders and to maintain Poland's status as a democracy according to the Atlantic treaty.Germany, under Hitler, was an enemy of communism and Russia. After 5 years of WW2....Poland is smaller, having been invaded by Stalin and it was no longer a democracy, but rather a communist puppet state of Stalin. The only thing that prevented communism and Stalin spreading throughout West Berlin,West Germany and ultimately all of Europe in 1945 was a massive airlift of food and provisions into West Berlin by Canada and North America that lasted nearly two years. As it was,the murderous tyrant Stalin was allowed to set up the communist eastern blocks of Hungary,Romania,Bulgaria etc.

The stated aim of communism is to spread and take over the world. The spread of communism from China throughout S.E. Asia in the 60's and 70's was justifiably resisted by the free world.
