The picture was taken in Iceland. The image is high enough quality to reveal that it contains a picture of a viking ship and the geographic outline of Iceland. You can easily find similar products online.
Wow I've never seen this photo before. I wouldn't be suprised if you could buy a blanket like that or get one made.

You can use Google image Search to find the various copies available on the net. However, they all seem to be in the same resolution you posted.
The book is available for only $16 used online from Amazon. Aren't you that curious?

I see someone has already posted an ebay link. Although that auction has ended, it gives you many clues as to how to find it-- a picture, the place where it was made, a reasonable estimate of price.

Maybe this won't work for you but when I use it I see several books offered for less than $16.
