Books/Openings and daily 800?

Hello, I've been a member for 3 years as of yesterday...but only started playing regular "rapid 30minute" games more often lately. anyway, I have never tried bullet or speed, but can someone please (so I don't get some surprise) let me know what the daily 800 and.. whatever the other is? why are they different from rapid....one more..i play the Catalan opening, yet chess.com will not give me the book opening credit. it's stupid, but I'm compulsive.. every which way...I only get queens gambit..yet I play D4-C4-g3-Bg2-Nf3..even switching bishop with knight, nothing. I'm playing it without a doubt! anyway, I figured this would be quicker and less "problematic" than asking chess.com so I apologize this is not a topic, but you(all) would have my gratitude..i know🙂😆..but it is a real thing. thanks guys, ladies..much appreciated!!!!
