If the device was programmed to vibrate in Morse code, it would be very easy to program it to send you the algebraic notation of your next move. Just have someone else watching the game and inputing your opponent's moves into Houdini or some other chess engine, then transmit the moves to you.

Yes, but it can make it difficult for him. Kind of a pain in the butt to be consantly changing your ip.
