Playing with a bot is better than not playing at all, sure.
You learn more playing against Humans, though.

A good bot doesn't make blunders or mistakes but a good human could (who knows?).

i HATE losing elo.
and to not lose in just 1 move i am playing matches with bots and try to get better before i challenge real humans. I played with engine 6 (1000 elo) and i am getting victory in 2 out of 3 games but does playing against a bot will it help me get better at chess?
currently playing against 1000 elo engine and when i get comfortable with it, i would try 1000+ elo engine.
last match was against a REAL HUMAN in which i got scared but eventually got myself into an endgame and a victory with resignation.
