They seem to be back to normal now. I don't care about ELO levels or what the bots play at, but they should at least be consistent so you can feel like your game is getting better.

Bots literally all cheat dude, they have full capability of playing engine moved but they intentionally tank themselves so that they will play more accurately to the elo given

Crazy bots like the mechanical turk are designed to destroy any body even GMs so they will play very close to stockfish, while bots like in the beginner section will play terrible the whole game because the devs intentionally limit the depth to what they are supposed to think at. Also there are stylistic things in their programming such as Nelson just making one of whatever queen move is available to him.
Why did they change the bot skill levels? I used to play a 1500 bot and sometimes beat it, then play the 3 1400 bots and usually beat all of them. Now I've gotten beaten by the 1st 1400 bot about 100 times in a row. I think David quit and one of the other bots is playing for him. I think that's cheating.
