Don't pay any attention to the post game analysis elo rating, it fluctuates wildly, and is not an accurate description of your opponent's (or in this case, the bot's) actual elo rating.
The bots don't and can't play like a human with the same elo rating.
The hard truth is, most bots actually play well below their elo rating. And you are not 500 elo (498 as of this post). You stopped playing humans at 498, and you just haven't played enough games for your elo to even out.
Play more humans, you're going to lose a lot more games, but eventually you will end up at a level where you win/lose approximately 50%. That is your true rating.
You already said yourself that you suck at chess. Embrace the suck. Become the suck that the world doesn't want, but the suck that the world needs.
Why can't the bots play at their effing level? I suck at chess. I will never be good at it, and I just bots newar or below level so I learn.. I played a game today where the bot was a 250-rated bot, but played at 800, and I played at 450. It's Bull S**T. Deliver what you promise, Chess.com. A 250 bot should be a 250 bot!
