Why was this move marked brilliant? I'm rated 1200, I'm sure a 500-rated player could find it easily given about ten seconds

Unrelated but why is 8. Nd6+ considered inaccurate when it wins the queen

Brother, im 500 elo, my opponents would lowkey attack the knight with the light squared bishop

It has happened to me before that a probably best or great move is marked as innaccuracy, my coach said "theres a better way of obtaining the queen" while i did an incredible deflection to the king

Yeah, sometimes they just give brilliancies out for really obvious moves.

it didn't used to be that way. i think its good for their business if we think we made a brilliant move. if we all think we're brilliant we will be inclined to play more chess. chess.com even thinks sacking the knight in the fried liver opening is brilliant. but a few years ago chess.com wouldn't have called it brilliant. it seems like basically any sacrifice is considered brilliant now.
