I think it does. Only highly skilled players should play bullet since they will have learned to concepts at normal pace first.
bullet chess makes you dumber

I agree. It does not allow for deep analysis and leads to scatter brain. I used to play it a lot and liked it but I'll prob never do it again

I agree but playing standard games makes player dumper too!
All of the time controls should be played.
So much bullet games destroy thinking method and so much standard games destroy concentration in the games and makes thinking time longer in the next games.

Bullet is perfect when you want chess but have only 5-10 minutes. Bullet destroys your calculation abillity. It destroys your openings and for most players endgame too - becouse low time only premoves etc. It can alose damage your tactical skills - going for quick unsound sac, holping he wont react correctly or in time.. But improves your visualization, imrpoves your intuition. Improves your time managment. Your reflexes, your reaction, the abillity to quickly make a decision in constantly changing positions, your decision making. If you stop hanging pieces in bullet you less hang pieces in slow chess. It is a lot of fun. But is a lot of angressiveness and for most players is not stress free. Bullet helps you to gain experence if you are beginner, you need to play games games games, you remember patterns etc. But first i recomment to watch how masters play bullet/b;itz with commentary to have an idea. If you are already experienced high level player and you want to continue to improve you have to stop bullet and even blitz and play rapid/slow chess.
I've been following bullet games recently and came to the conclusion that it makes people dumber. What do you think?
