what is the point of 1 minute chess when you are just moving pieces at random? I don't get it. Who invent this type of time anyway? Isn't chess all about using your brain and playing bullet chess you ain't using any of that? Now can you dig that?

Say that to Nakamura, he doesn't seem to be moving pieces at random, does he?

1 0 isnt moving at random. Maybe to you it seems random bec you cant keep up with it but by no means is 1 0 random moves for any that play 1 0. Most know the game well enuff to play 20 or 30 book moves into them before someone tosses a wrench out there or hangs a queen premoving. 1 0 is for people like me who play from work and have to logg off fast when the boss comes in

I don t get this bullet thing either.It s way too fast for me.

Our brains are naturally capable of making split second decisions, usually subconsciously. Tap into some of that an apply it to your bullet. Not saying it will work, but that's the idea, I think. A split second "I think" but still a think.

I am talking about other not me even though i do move to win but there is no end to it. You just keep moving until you win. Weird bullet chess. Its speed vs brain

Bullet players in my rating don't move their pieces at random.

The guy who posted this obviously doesn't understand jack about bullet chess.  Moving pieces at random? Seriously?

Bullet chess is great for the top players who want to avoid opponents using an engine.  At the lower levels, it probably does more harm than good, since it encourages a superficial thought process.

If you can get to the point where you are not haning pieces in slow chess (or falling for simple tactics), the speed up the process to G/15, and then to Blitz and even Bullet, if you are able to do so without idiot blunders.  But whenever your blunders start to occur, go back to a slower time control.  Don't get in the habit of hangng pieces.

It's definitely not about thinking, it's all about pattern recognition.

        Yeah mr Dave, post "funny" messages on my wall , and block me , in order to not hear my answer, well this is very cowardish! as it is close your wall, so  nobody could know about your poor behaviour, funny your questioning the point of bullet chess, but mock me after i lose just 1 game of 1 minute, listen a little tip : when you say something to anyone don't hide or run ,stay to hear the answer!grow up be  a man !
