Absolutely 101% agree. Even on blitz 3/5 min. And those players are not that low rated. Even if you are low rated bullet player with experience or observe how stronger players play you can develop simple technik. But no, the big ego jumps in and the moron wants to finish you off , but with his poor skills he is often unable to do it. Add up that he seriously protects his pawn and pieces even if he is 3 queens up he does not want to sac something and he ends up stalemating you. It's pretty hilarious.
There is a topic, just very recently the guy is up whole rook and completely winning, but opponent is harrasing one of his pawn, he protects it , but then opponent is giving a check to his unprotected king, in respond he moves the king, but check again and again, he return a piece and blocks the check correctly, but then opponent attack his pawn one more time, he did not like it and protects it and same story repeats and ends up draw with perpetual check while he could just block and sac the pawn and finish the game.. xD
It's all psyhological and big ego thing. Chess repressents all of your bad sides haha
In the past month I've racked up more than 100 Bullet draws, many of these Stalemates when I was in a lost position. This is almost always due to player greed.
At the start of May I had 768/19653 draws (3.91%), but since then I've had 110/814 games (13.51%), which is a 345% increase. This ability to salvage draws is hugely fun, and a very useful skill to develop when the seconds are ticking down.
When an opponent has only a few seconds on the clock they are less likely to be able to prevent these positions from arising, and it's entirely possible to trap an opponent into drawing, especially as they are unlikely to sacrifice pieces to ensure checkmate later.
This is a psychological problem for many players, who are inherently greedy, and will not give up a piece when they think a win is inevitable.
By remembering this rule you too can capitalise on this inherent flaw in the human psyche.
I encourage each and every one of you to never resign, under any circumstances in a bullet game. You never know when an sloppy endgame move may produce Stalemate. I know that many of these have been far more satisfying then many wins on time, and even some checkmates.
I also challenge anyone else to produce a record showing they have had more bullet draws them me!
