Hey, all. I am a high 13's player seeking a missing piece in my strategy. I have all tactics memorized, so I had to ask myself "What's missing?". After getting stomped by my android, I think I've figured it out? I'm missing two pieces: chess vision and long-ranged calculation. I understand that TT can help improve my chess vision, but how do you exercise calculative ability? Is this something you simply must have at a young age? Are there some who will never get it? Please help.
