so can he and anyone who really wants to. try to spread more positivity! we as a chess community should support each other. getting practice as a coach can be a helpful tool before charging people anyways and nobody would be forced to help him if they didnt want to

I'm rooting for you, Patrick. I only got into chess recently when your videos popped up in my recommendations last summer, sparking a newfound interest in a game I never thought I'd embrace. As a middle-aged person who's played only a handful of games until now, I'm excited to prove that even an old dog can learn new tricks. Hey Patrick, stumbled across your stuff recently and have been watching. I am interested in trying out some coaching. I’ve never done it before, but I am decently strong and would be interested in giving it a whirl.
I think that individual training, without outside access, will be effective. Especially studying the opening part.

After playing chess on YouTube for 700 days, I am taking a new approach. I am reviving the Coaching Series on my channel. If you are a chess coach, and would like to be featured on this series, please drop your chess.com ID and a little message on this post or in the comments section. While I can't commit to paying for the coaching sessions, I will be highlighting the coaches on my videos in the event that subscribers would like to schedule time for a fee. I'll be accepting submissions for another week or two before I start scheduling the sessions, and hopefully by May we'll have our next Coaching Series installment.
