I was wondering if a grandmaster or a regular chess player could have a winning streak of 100. Computers only make it up to 50 or less. Also, I was wondering if it is possible for a 400 rated player to have a 80+ winning streak. Hope ya guys have an answer

stupidly unlikely. either cheating/ sandbagging/ playing against the same idiot 80 times or playing and winning against an alternate account 80 times.

Most likely the first option.

Against significantly weaker players, easily. I've had a 120 win streak on another site before.

I have a friend that I play who is significantly weaker than me that I play. So I win and lose rating points. Those games are usually faster compared to the tournaments I'm in. Also I have been in a couple of tournaments running concurrently where multiple players timed out on me. I hate winning multiple games by timeouts. It's frustrating because my rating is getting inflated due to a timeout.

Agreed

It's not that hard to win 100 games in a row if you are playing significantly weaker opponents. And I don't know where you got the idea that computers can only win 50 games in a row. It just depends on who the computer is playing.

Greco vs. NN could reach one million.

I can understand you don't who macer75 is... His winning streaks are simply marvellous, with 105 blitz wins and 136 consecutive rapid wins!

It is not unusual for a GM to play a simul against 25 people and beat them all, and if he starts out early, he can do it four times in a day.
