Can any 1400 Fide Rated player score a half point against Magnus Carlsen even in one lakh games?

I‘m sure you are that close to enlighten us what a lakh game is.

If Magnus played 100,000 games against anyone, he would likely get so bored that he would lose his attention and make at least one blunder allowing a draw.

Now, whether the 1400 would be paying attention him or herself at that moment is another question.

It is, indeed, as many experienced after promising a 10-0 in Blitz match and totally failing to score so, overly difficult to maintain a satisfying level of attention for long, when facing close to zero hardship.

I used to have a chess problems book from Polgar's father that began with 300 mate in one problems.

A few times I challenged myself to score a 300/300, writting down the winning move for each problem, on a sheet of paper. Checked the solutions once finished with all the diagramms.

I tried I think three times, and every time, I blundered 2 or 3 mate in one, for giving out a move that was nearly mate but not mate, and not double checking before writting it and moving on to next problem.

Hence, easy is harder than one think, especially when it lasts too long.
