Torture??? Why? And why do you ask?
Have you ever played 4 chess games at the same exact time? And remember, you can't make a move, until the opponent has made all 4 of their moves. You move four times, they move four times.

losing a game of chess is torture enough :p
I never found it to be all that upsetting. I've always looked at each loss as a learning experience. I get a lot more from a loss than I do from a win. Now granted I've never played in an OTB tournament for money. So that might add a dimension to a loss I've never felt.... But just in general losing a game? Doesn't bother me.

You're right. haha I'm more or less just joking.. I'd never say I enjoy losing but there is more to learn from a loss then a victory

Another variation of "Chaos" would be to set up as shown above, finish the full round of games, remove the losing side's pieces from each board, and then change the pawn's movement to allow for moving front and back, attacking front and back. Of course, this again means transforming each individual board to one giant 16X16 board.
This is because you might have lost the game on your right side, but you won the game in front of it, on your opponent's left. This leaves you with your right black set on the other side of the right white set opposite from you, so you have to move/attack back. However, you could move the black pawns there to the front to get promoted.
The winner of the first round of 4 games would decide which color he wants to play as, and then flip a coin to determine whether that wish is granted (this would be needed in which you won 2 games, one as white, one as black). Because in some games, you were one color, and in other games, you were another color, and you played each color in the same direction, you can then move ALL of your pieces forward or backwards.
We should call Hasbro Games, we're gonna need a lawyer.
Each player takes 4 full turns(clockwise)!!! 1 move per board.
Yep, that's a Quarter.
