Can God make an engine so strong that he can not beat it?

That's what the Universe actually is : God playing chess with himself. The part we experience is the fractal boundary on the edge between white barely winning and black barely holding a draw. All else is an illusion.

Answer: I would reckon no because if He were the creator of the engine, He has to know how to make something better than Himself (we will now call the chess engine Your Highness), which basically means he cant because he needs the wits to make it! Hopefully you will understand my gibberish language

Although some sci-fi authors pretend it's visible via Paradox Microscopy, the specific positions are always imperceptible to us.

It is possible to make an engine that is better than you. The guy that made Houdini would get crushed by it. It should only be impossible for an omnipotent god to make an engine like that because he should be able to do anything. Which doesn't make sense.

No,God is perfect, and having created a perfect engine, every game would end in a draw.
So he is not capable of making an engine that can beat him. What a weakling. Even I can make an engine that can beat me.

God make people and people made chess and chess people made chess programs so god already made something that is stronger than himself
Wait so Houdini can beat God at chess games? I knew it!

This doesn't point to a specific thing God can't do but rather a specific relation to something he can't have. The guy who made Houdini made an engine that was stronger than he was. God can do this too: he can make Houdini (in the previous sentence "he" is referring to the human who made Houdini). God has a different relation to Houdini, sure, but he can make Houdini too.

Here's the thing God either can not make an engine that he can't beat, or he can not beat the engine that he made. Either way there is still something that he can NOT do.

Another thing God can't do is not be God. We can structure our language to make basically anything an action. It would be weird to do so and would make it hard for us to make meaningful distinctions, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Another point to make here Rybkat: what engine, exactly, is it that God cannot make that he can't beat? Surely, if this (hypothetical) engine that can't be made by him exists, you could point it out as an example? I would agree he can't fail to beat an engine -- you could also just say he can beat any engine -- they mean the same thing but I guess we freak out when we throw in the word "fail."

Just think about, a few simple questions can prove an omnipotent god to be impossible like: Can God Make an engine so strong that he can not beat it?, or Can God make a stone so heavy that he can not lift it?

It could be any engine that could beat him. I can't point it out because I'm not omnipotent so I couldn't make it. He is supposedly omnipotent, and if that's true he should be able to make anything.

"It could be any engine that could beat him"
But if you looked for engines in this category you would find no engines. (I'm not talking about just this world. I'm talking about any possible world you want to imagine.)
If you find no engines in such a mental exercise, then it follows that you won't find an engine God can't make.
He either can't make the engine or he can't beat it? Is he really omnipotent?
