Hi, it's not the same. Gotham and Hikaru get the permission of chess.com, and they get a special account, which gets banned after they've done what they wanted to, and all points get refunded. You can have two accounts, but only if you contacted support before. For further information, read this article:

i thought of aming another account so i would get an extra rating but just in case i dont wanna get banned..... so if you know i made and account for playing higher or lower rated opponents would that be ok because i hv seen hikaru and gotham playin 600 elos so technically its alright to do make 2 accounts?
